Hickory was remodelled and redecorated in 2014, with a new screened-in porch added that same year. It sits in a quiet corner of the property amid mature trees, with a filtered view of the lake through the canopy — serene and private in every season. 

The owners take great pride in keeping Hickory neat and welcoming, and have many returning guests as a result. Book early — particularly for peak summer and winter weeks. Well-mannered animals are welcome on request.

What's Included

• Bedrooms: both with queen beds with dressers, night tables and full sized closets for storage.
• Kitchen: fully equipped kitchen with a full sized fridge and electric stove, microwave, and all small appliances and kitchen equipment, modern new maple kitchen cabinetry
• Living room: open concept living room, dining and kitchen area provide plenty of room for entertaining; newly laid laminate flooring, and a wood burning stove,
• Bathroom: toilet, full-sized tub/shower and large vanity
• Large Screened Porch: The 16 foot deep deck and screened-in porch span the front of the cottage sitting amongst the trees. Enjoy dinner and listening to the birds bug free!
• BBQ: Propane BBQ
• Transportation: Arrangements can be made if you need a pickup from bus station in Huntsville. Please inquire for charges.

If you need a safe getaway this winter Hickory is just the cottage! The lake is a wonderful place to ski, skate or just to take a relaxing walk. Limberlost Reserve is just a short walk away and has amazing ski trails and walking trails. If you like to ice fish let me. I have all the gear.

Elm is a private, non-smoking two-bedroom cottage where the lake is never out of sight. From the bedroom with its large picture window to the Muskoka room's three sides of floor-to-ceiling screens, the water is always present.

The original floors are finished beautifully, and built-in cupboards throughout keep everything neat and tucked away. A kayak and paddle are available right at your private shore area — step out and paddle whenever the mood takes you.

What's Included

• Bedroom 1: comfortable queen bed, overhead fan, and light
• Kitchen: Fully equipped – fridge, 2 burner cooktop, convection oven, microwave, blender, kettle, Keurig single cup coffee maker, Bodum, coffee grinder, serving dishes, storage containers, etc. and a good choice of pots and pans.
• Living room: Sofa, TV, DVD/Blu Ray player, assorted movies, ceiling fan, wood stove
• Bathroom: 3 piece with shower
• Muskoka Room: Comfortable chairs and table for playing games or eating. A breathtaking view of the water and early morning sunrises.
• Sun Deck: 8 by 16 feet with a gas BBQ and a 2nd tank

• Parking: One reserved space to the rear side of the cottage

If you are looking for a private spot on the lake in an old-fashioned yet comfortable cabin, Cedar is for you. This traditional two-bedroom log cabin sits mere steps from the water, surrounded by trees, with a full kitchen and bathroom.

Weekly rentals have priority during the season, which means Cedar tends to have more open dates than most cottages — a real opportunity to grab a longer stay.

Built in 2016, Birch is a bright two-bedroom cottage with large windows throughout, giving every room a view of the lake. The great room features a vaulted ceiling clad in rustic, hand-milled 17-inch pine planks — a genuinely beautiful space.

Summer brings ceiling fans in every living space for a cool retreat from the heat. Winter brings in-floor warmth and a crackling woodstove to welcome you in from the snow. Year-round comfort in one of Oxbow's most thoughtfully designed properties.

*Birch is a smoke-free, pet-free cottage with a maximum of 4 overnight guests and 8 guests in total during the day.

Beech Cottage is a newly renovated log cabin located in the OLCC 'suburbs' — just steps from the waterfront with a beautiful view of the Muskoka bush. Open-concept, spacious, and full of character.

Warm up by the wood burning stove, cook up a feast in the big kitchen, or kick back on the new deck with the BBQ going. Whether it's a winter weekend escape or a summer lakeside holiday, Beech has everything you need.

Rainy day? There's a generous DVD, book, and game collection — stories and movies for adults and kids alike.

What's Included

Everything you need for a comfortable stay — from the kitchen to the dock.

• Bedrooms: Both bedrooms are spacious with log cabin walls. One room has a queen size bed, a single bed and two dressers. The second bedroom has a double bed, a vintage stereo, two dressers and a small closet.
• Kitchen: Our kitchen is BIG and has a new new stove and fridge. It comes stocked with a a coffee maker (with a re-usable filter), kettle, microwave, toaster and all the pots and pans you need for cottage cooking! Help yourself to our selection of tea!
• BBQ: Enjoy bar-b-queing on our new deck!
• Living room: Read on the couch or watch movies by the wood burning stove. The cottage has a fairly large DVD, book and game collection - including movies and stories for adults and kids.
• Bathroom: During our 2021 renovations, we expanded the washroom, adding in a new toilet and flooring.
• Electric baseboard heaters are located in every room.

Hemlock offers year-round rentals in one of Ontario's most beautiful lakeside settings. Come swim, paddle, hike, and birdwatch in summer — or ski, skate, and snowshoe in winter.

The cottage is clean and cozy, heated with baseboard heating and a fireplace for the colder months. A beautiful large sunroom and deck make the most of warmer days. Set back among birch trees with a lovely lake view, Hemlock gives you the privacy and quiet you deserve in a true getaway.

The bright living and dining area benefits from new picture windows for ventilation and light. A well-equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and a well-stocked pantry make cooking a pleasure.

• General Living Space: Living space is carpeted with the exception of the sunroom which has a painted motif pattern on plywood. A new, bright insulated door as well as two beautiful picture windows that allow greater ventilation makes the living/dining area very bright.
• Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms offer two queen sized beds and one double bed
• Living/Dining Room: The living room has a Love seat and two upholstered rocking/swivel chairs. There is a small dining table.
• Washroom: Three piece washroom
• Kitchen: Kitchen is very well equipped with stainless appliances, most small appliances and a pantry well-stocked with spices and baking needs
• New Deck and Sunroom: The sunroom offers additional living and dining space with a large, extendable dining room table and a loveseat and comfy chairs. The open deck has a BBQ and Muskoka chairs.
