A safe, quiet place
to breathe again

Nestled between Huntsville and Dwight in the heart of Muskoka, the Oxbow Lakeside Community Club is a co-operatively owned, queer-positive vacation retreat set on a small, contained lake with no passway to other lakes, so it truly feels like it belongs to you.

Founded in 1999, as a lesbian-owned community, Oxbow has long been a haven of warmth, inclusion, and natural beauty. Lesbian-founded and lesbian-run since the beginning, everyone in our wider queer community is welcome here. Cell reception, BBQs on every deck, fully equipped kitchens, and a private sandy beach make it everything a cottage week should be.
