Everything you need for a perfect lakeside getaway — from watercraft to cozy gathering spaces.
The Lodge
Our lodge is a beautiful building that offers two spaces for renters to enjoy: the ping pong room on the lower level and the screened-in porch upstairs, a larger social area perfect for gathering with friends.
The lodge also houses our shared Algonquin Park Pass, posted on the bulletin board. Sign it out for your day trip and return it when you get back.
On The Water
Renters and guests share the use of Club watercraft, typically two canoes and two kayaks, along with other small craft. All are labelled OLCC and located by the water.
Always use lifejackets and take a boat safety kit — police patrol the lake and may warn or charge you.
Campfire Evenings
There is a Club fire pit down by the waterfront. Use the older wood provided near the fire pit, and twigs from the bush are great for starting your fire.
Check the fire rating sign at the Fire Station on Limberlost Road. When the rating is high or a ban is posted, no fires are permitted. On windy nights, please skip the fire for safety. Always douse your fire well with lake water when done.
Guest Information
Know Before You Go
A few important things to make your stay comfortable and keep our community safe.
Water
Tap water comes directly from the lake and is not treated — for bathing and dishes only. Safe drinking water jugs are in each cottage. Refill free at the fire station at Limberlost Road & Highway 60.
98 Smoking
Smoke outside the cottage, as long as second-hand smoke doesn't interfere with others. In Tamarack units, smoke at a distance so it won't blow into other units. Use ashtrays and empty them before departure.
Pets
We welcome up to 2 pets per cottage. Dogs must be on leash except when swimming with you. Please keep pets off the dock and furniture, and pick up after them. Thanks for helping us keep the space great for everyone!
Power Outages
Power often goes out in storms. Fill the bucket with lake water and use it to flush — but only when you must. Too many flushes overload the septic system when the pump has no power.
98 Smoking
Keep all garbage inside — this is bear country! Take garbage to the local transfer station (~4km down Limberlost Rd) or take it home. Do not leave garbage in or outside the cottage.
Pets
Back up to unload, then park in your cottage driveway. One vehicle per cottage. Additional parking is available in the lot behind the main Lodge.
