Built in 2016, Birch is a bright two-bedroom cottage with large windows throughout, giving every room a view of the lake. The great room features a vaulted ceiling clad in rustic, hand-milled 17-inch pine planks — a genuinely beautiful space.

"This isn't a cottage, it is our paradise!"

Summer brings ceiling fans in every living space for a cool retreat from the heat. Winter brings in-floor warmth and a crackling woodstove to welcome you in from the snow. Year-round comfort in one of Oxbow's most thoughtfully designed properties.

*Birch is a smoke-free, pet-free cottage with a maximum of 4 overnight guests and 8 guests in total during the day.

What's Included

  • 2 Bedrooms: one with a Queen size, while the second has a double sized bed with a memory foam topper, ceiling fans, dressers in each room
  • Bathroom: four piece bathroom with on-demand water supply
  • Full size kitchen: stainless steel fridge, stove with double oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, Tassimo, Keurig, toaster, waffle maker and crock pot.
  • Great Room: reclining love seat and chairs for enjoying ambiance of woodstove or TV and DVD player, Island with 3 chairs provide a great place to visit during meal preparation while the dining table is situated beside a large 7’x6’ window overlooking the beach. Vaulted 17-inch hand-milled pine ceiling. Reclining loveseat and chairs, TV and DVD player, island with 3 chairs. Sliding patio doors onto the deck.

2 Bedrooms

Queen bed in the first room. Double with memory foam topper in the second. Ceiling fans and dressers in each room.

Decks & Porch

10×32 cedar deck with Muskoka chairs overlooking the water, plus an 8×10 deck with propane BBQ. Porch with sofa and fan.

Lake Views

Large windows throughout provide lake views from every room. Dining table sits beside a 7′×6′ window facing the beach.

In-Floor Heat & Woodstove

In-floor heating throughout for winter stays. Crackling woodstove in the great room for the full Muskoka ambiance.

Full Kitchen

Stainless fridge, double oven stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, Tassimo, Keurig, toaster, waffle maker, crock pot.

At 10 by 32 feet, the cedar deck is practically a room in itself — lined with Muskoka chairs and looking straight out at the water. A separate 8×10 deck holds the propane BBQ, while the screened porch offers a shaded spot to sit with a fan and a drink.
